So, it appears that I've been walking around with a fracture/bone fragment in my foot for about a year...which explains the pain I've had in my foot.
So this coming Thursday, I'm having surgery to remove the fragment....more on that later.
But in preparation, I've needed to get some stuff done to make my apartment useable for someone with restricted movement.
I've been trying to get this done for some time, but of course, I've failed...but this weekend I've finally gotten stuff done:
Cleaned the living room, dining room, hall, bathroom, and bed room.
--lots of garbage thrown out, lots of stuff organized, and all carpets vacuumed.
Got pull out bed/couch ready to be pulled out for my several days of sitting on the couch watching TV.
2 loads of laundry (including linen for aforementioned bed/couch.
Re-organized AV center so it's useable (and out of the way of bed/couch being pulled out).
Found wheel for dolly/cart after 8 years of looking
Cleaned Car
Cleaned windows of car (I had a window replaced some time ago and there was a phantom numbering left from the window dealers..gone now)
Fixed back panel for tailgate of car (panel having been sitting in my apt since it fell off in winter)
Tested iPod Mini for how well it holds charge.
Tested new hard drive with burn in (success)
Baked bread.
Cleaned Ceiling Fan blades
Finished making iPad case
Tried fixing antler candle holder (failed...anyone know a good glue for bones..Gorilla Glue has failed me)
Researched several applications and tech fixes.
And a few other miscellaneous stuff.
(obviously, not all of this is directly related to the surgery prep...a lot is stuff that I've just been needing to know).
